I landed my first major creative award (a yellow D&AD pencil) before I landed my first job and subsequently became D&AD's youngest ever judge. Since then I have been on a professional odyssey that has taken me to the other side of the world helping brands, large and small, make their mark in pop culture. The diversity of my award winning work is testament to my permissive approach - from long form entertainment; design and immersive digital experiences to installations; brand activations and even a children’s book. Whatever the medium, each project is characterised by the same level of meticulous craftsmanship.
I am strong exponent of the role creativity has to play in tackling societal and environmental issues. My work on the world’s most sustainable typeface was an inaugural winner of the D&AD white pencil. I am also the ‘Black Plaque Project’, an initiative that seeks to address the issue of posthumous prejudice in Britain.As a member of the Grey Global Creative Council I was one of the driving forces behind the network’s phenomenal creative renaissance, helping Grey London secure over 40 Cannes Lions. I followed Vicki Maguire from Grey to Havas in 2020 as a Creative Partner. In just 18 months I helped Havas win 34 internationally recognised awards, including 3 Cannes Lions and 3 D&AD pencils.
In 2022 I went client side. Not as an in-house creative director, but into a new realm of marketing. Poacher turned gamekeeper. Luxury Swiss watch brand, Ollech & Wajs, make timepieces “Equal to any challenge” - the ex-ad agency creative director who is currently head of its marketing operations is determined to prove the same his true of him!I have been a speaker at The Tribeca Film Festival, Institute of Practitioners in Advertising, D&AD and Eurobest.
In my spare time I can usually be found writing about horology, taking photos or on a rugby pitch.
